This guy I've been seeing, every time we have sex I bleed. This has never happened with anyone else before. He is bigger than the others, but not that much. He likes it with my legs up which does hurt in my stomach, but I've experienced that before. Why do I keep bleeding? I thought it would stop after a time or to but it hasn't. I did go to the doctor to get a check up to make sure I didn't have any STD thats all clear. But I didn't discuss the bleeding with my doctor the nurse said it was just the medicine that I was taking for a yeast infection that was 3 months ago and I still bleed. Well its not like poring blood but a little more than spotting. It's not as bad as it was in the beginning ---does anyone know whats going on will it eventually stop when my body gets use to him??? We only see each other about once every week or two.

Hi allejz, welcome!

I'm glad that you had an exam to make sure everything is ok. Are you using enough lube? If you aren't well lubed, which might be the case, especially if he is large and in a condom, that can hurt. Does it hurt and do you bleed from intercourse in any other position? If not what might be happening is that with your legs up he is penetrating you at an angle and depth that causes him to bump your cervix which can be painful as well as cause bleeding. The cells covering the tip of the cervix are very sensitive and when bumped can bleed some, especially if you are on hormonal contraceptives.

If that is what is happening you might want to try more foreplay. When you are very aroused the uterus withdraws pulling the cervix up and out of the way (most of the time) of a thrusting penis. You could tell him he's so large you need more prep... that should be an ego stroker for him... Or, try other positions and see if you can find one that's comfortable for you and that he likes. Thanks for posting. I hope you find a comfortable position. Please come back and let us know how you're doing.

Good luck,
