After sex with my bf without a condom (using other birth control though), I have a burning/odd feeling inside of me. Is that a reaction between our fluids? It goes away after a couple hours. Is this something to be worried about? Thank you.

Hi tortoisegirl, welcome!

Using hormonal birth control can reduce the amount of natural lube produced, even when you are very aroused It sounds as though you might not have been wet enough. Vulvar and vaginal tissues are easily chafed when dry so that might have been what happened. If you aren't having other symptoms like an unusual discharge or an itchy feeling you might just need more lube. If you need more lubrication try a good intimate lube like Astroglide, Slippery Stuff or K-Y Liquid and use plenty of it. Personally I like Astroglide as it seems to be nearest to my natural lube. If you were allergic to his ejaculate (which is very rare) I think there would be swelling and a much longer period of discomfort. If using a Lube doesn't cure the problem than you might want to see your doctor for advice. Thanks for posting. Let us know how you're doing, ok?
Good luck,
Jill
