Can't have anal sex anymore

My BF and I used to enjoy anal sex every now and then and it was never painful for me. But for about the last month I've started having alot of pain when I use the bathroom. At first I thought it was because of hemmoroids, but now I'm not so sure. I'm not constipated at all, and normally when my hemmoroids are irritated I can feel the swollen tissue, but now it looks/fels normal. The pain is farther up inside my colon it seems like. Sometimes there is blood and sometimes there isn't. I thought it would heal on it's own after a bit, but it seems to be getting worse. It hurts so much it's getting really difficult to even use the bathroom. I haven't even *thought* about having anal sex or doing any anal play since the pain began. I'm afraid I'll never be able to again.

Hi IM, welcome!

Hon, this isn't something you should put off finding out about. You need to see your doctor as soon as you possibly can. You may need to be referred to a colon specialist but if your GP or Gyno's office makes the appointment for you, you may get in earlier. Let us know what your doctor says.

Good luck,

Well apparently I have a torn rectum. It probably happened from passing a bowel movement while constipated. The doctor prescribed some stool softeners, and of course I can't do anything sexually there until it's well healed. The problem is that often they don't heal easily. At least I know now.
