Please help me ladies if you have any ideas. I have been experiencing pain during intercourse for some time now. It feels like a burning pain, like my skin is extremely irritated both around the vaginal opening and just inside it. Dryness is not the problem and using store bought lube just burns even more. I have been tested for all STD's and other problems such as bacterial infection, YI, etc, and everything is normal according to the gyno. I even stopped using Nuvaring which I had previously been happy with for BC, and I have been off for about 2 1/5 months now. What else could it be? I thought perhaps my soap, however the soap I use is Ivory and it is no dyes and no perfumes added, as natural as you can get. I'm at the end of my rope and with no health insurance to go back to the doctor I just don't know what to do. My pain was accompanied by discharge for a while and it has since slowed down a lot since I stopped the ring. I have been examined at least 4 times in the past year for this problem and although I keep being tested for infections and such nothing comes back, so what else could it be? What should I do now? I can't afford to go back to the doctor.

Hi aerandel,

My wonderful co-host gave me some background info on your other posts and unfortunately I don't have any other suggestions for you to try.

I know I had pain during intercourse foa while everytime too but after a little research I learned I was just scared each time that it was in fact going to hurt and that made it hurt. So I stopped worrying and honestly the pain is gone
