I miss the big O!!!
| Tue, 01-10-2006 - 9:12pm |
I have been with my bf in a serious commited relationship for two years and i've known him for five. Our sex life was great but for the last month or so I won't orgasm. I just dont. I dont mind that much but at the same time, every time we do it and I dont orgasm, I feel unsatisfied.
He was no problem physically but mentally he hates the fact that he cant please his woman. Yet he tries over and over. I dont know what happen that I dont enjoy sex any more. Why wont I hit the Big O!!!!

Hi vyna87, Welcome!
Did anything in your lifestyle change about the time you stopped being able to orgasm, such as: a major change in diet, medicines or supplements started or stopped or going on/off or changing hormonal contraceptives? All of those things can sometimes have an affect on your sexual pleasure. Or have you been under more stress at school, work or home, in the last several months? Being subconsciously unable to relax and enjoy having your guy might be what's going on.
I hope some of this helps. If you have more questions please ask. Let us know how you're doing, ok?
Good luck,
Jill
>> I have been on the patch now for the last month or so. And I've had a lot of ups and downs lately in my relationship and school <<
I'm really sorry about school hon. It could be the stress of your relationship and school but I think your 'O' problem is more than likely related to Ortho Evra. Hormones can really take the edge of a girl’s libido. Since you have only been on the patch for a month you should give it at least 3 cycles to allow your body to adjust to the new hormones, things may get better. It took 2 years for OTC to kill my libido. I hope that doesn't happen to you. All hormonal contraceptives have the potential to decrease libido since the progestin binds to free testosterone which is what fuels it. If after 3 cycles the patch isn't working the way you want you could try another low maintenance method, NuvaRing, www.nuvaring.com and see if that is any better.
I hope things settle down for you and you get your ‘O’ back. More questions? Please ask. Let us know how you're doing, ok?
Hugs,
Jill
Hi there :)
As lifestyle changes and birth control can affect your ability to have an orgasim I don't think that it's completely impossible to have one :)
