Overreacting?

I was having a bad day at work today, and was pretty depressed. I decided to visit my boyfriend for some lovin'.

He's an artist, and lately he's taken up whittling. He'd been whittling just before we began love-making, and had filled a grocery bag with unwanted wood shavings. During the love-making process, I accidentally hit the bag with a pillow, scattering NO MORE than 15 to 20 little bits of sawdust. He got a little upset, but we continued. I had my eyes closed, and I opened them when I felt his hand move towards my head - to my dismay, he wasn't trying to caress my face, but was instead picking the bits of sawdust up off the floor and putting them back into the grocery bag. I laughed when it happened, but a couple minutes later I began to feel insulted and a little objectified. I was already depressed, and his anal-retentive need to clean the mess up immediately took the focus off of what he was doing with me! Afterwards he immediately went to sleep, and only woke up after I had gotten dressed and was about to walk out the door. I didn't really feel like kissing him goodbye, but I did anyway. Granted, he is a neat freak, but am I wrong for letting this incident upset me?
