Slight Bleeding After Penetration

I have not been someone who has a great deal of sexual experience. I have only had sex a total of 5 times so far and they have been spread out over a long time. I lost my virginity about 6 years ago and of course, there was a bit of blood involved. Blood could be seen on the bed underneath me. Assummed this was normal. Then, like 3 days later we had sex again and there was still a little bit of blood underneath me on the sheets. And during my personal cleanup I found blood.
Things happened, we broke up and I did not have a sexual relationship with anyone for several years. About 2 years ago, I did end up having sex again and again I noticed blood during my cleanup afterwards. No more sex until last night and same thing. So, everytime I've had sex with penetration, there is blood. But oral sex or getting fingered does not cause any blood.
Now, the blood does not look like something is actually bleeding. It actually looks just like I am having my period and it is definitely coming from inside the vagina. And, my period has always been a problem for me. I was a very late starter (16) and have never been regular. Sometimes I will have a period every 3 months that will last for over 1 week. Sometimes I will have a period only twice a year and only several days. Sometimes they are very heavy with lots of clots, sometimes they are very light. I am overweight, so that causes most of the problem I am sure.
I just want to know if the penetration is kinda disturbing my messed up system and triggering a temporary period of sorts. I'm never still bleeding the next day or anything, just during and immediately afterwards. And really slightly. Just enough to make the guys freak out and make me need to clean up extra good.
Or, is penetration actually causing some sort of problem not related to my period. Could I be bleeding because of another problem? I have no pain at all during sex, and penetration is not uncomfortable. Everything feels good like it is supposed to. No tightness or anything and there is definitely no issue with dryness. So, is this something dangerous or just annoying?
