Burning and scrapes after sex! help!

I have been having vagina problems that are putting a strain on my relationship. Sex used to be something to look forward to, like a mini-vacation, and now it something I avoid. I avoid sex because it is painful and creates cuts and sometimes yeast infections.

Sex has been painful since I switched birth control pills.I believe that the birth control I am currently taking, Seasonale, is to blame for my problems. I have been experiencing a very dramatic decrease in my natural lubrication which leads to painful tears and cuts in my vaginal tissue. So, to solve this problem I have been buying lube. The lube still does not provide me with the protection I require. I still get cuts with the lube and sometimes experience a painful burning sensation.

Also, I have been having frequent yeast infections. I have had a yeast infection almost every two months for the past year. I have never had yeast infections before I started taking Seasonale. I was also wondering if there is any link to water-based lube and yeast infections. I have done everything possible to avoid these yeast infection, but they keep returning with avengence.

In addition, I sometimes have tiny traces on blood after I have sex.

I have good hygiene and always urinate before and after sex. I also eat yogurt, take cranberry tablets , and drink plenty of water for good vaginal health, but I still have all of these issues.

My sex life has suffered and it is starting to make me feel depressed and unadequate. I barely feel like a woman.

I highly doubt I have an STD because my husband and I have only ever slept with eachother. I dont know what is happening to my body and it is freaking me out. I need suggestions on what type of birth control to take that doesnt have such severe side effects.

Next week is my annual gyno exam, so hopefully my doctor will be able to help me with my problems. What questions should I ask my doctor? Is there any b/c pill anyone reccomends? Should I ask my doctor to test me for STDs?

Please help!!!
