Another painful sex question

Hi all, I have returned. Unfortunately, I have a question about some discomfort I'm having during sex with my boyfriend. I read one post about initial discomfort that some people seem to experience when their man first tries to enter...and lube helps me with that. However, lube does not seem to help with some discomfort I have been experiencing after my guy is in me all the way. I don't think it's a size issue; he's just right, so to speak. But when he's thrusting I sometimes feel two things:
1) Friction deeper inside me, along my vaginal wall. This happens even if I have some lube, saliva from oral sex, and plenty of my own natural wetness. (Sorry, I hope that's not too much info.)
2) Pain, as if he's bumping into something like my cervix, though I don't think that's what is actually going on. This happens even if we're in just a basic missionary position, which is quite comfortable for me.
I had a pelvic exam in January, and everything was fine. My pap smear came back clear, too. My boyfriend is the only man I've ever been with, and he's been tested for STDs twice since we've been together as part of his annual check up - he's clean. I take Apri for birth control, and I know that can cause problems with vaginal dryness for some women...but like I said, lube doesn't seem to fix this. Has anybody experienced problems like this? Any thoughts?

Hi fsb567, welcome back!
