My girlfriend and I have arousal problem

For the record, I'm a guy posting here for my girlfriend... she just gets too embarrassed for this kind of stuff.

My girlfriend has recently had problems getting aroused. The last two or three times we've tried to have sex she hasn't been able to get "wet" and there was 2 weeks time in between the incidents.

This never happened before in the year and a few months that we have been having sex... only when we have tried to have sex in a short period after already having sex.

Her period should be coming within the next week, so she's been experiencing the normal symptoms before her period (tender/swollen breasts, etc.). She has a very irregular period and tends to show symptoms up to a week before she actually gets her period.

We're worried that perhaps this is a sign of pregnancy.

However, doing research on early symptoms, I have not found this to be an indicator. Am I wrong?

In addition, the "early symptoms" that she does have are also linked to her period, and she's had them all regularly in the past prior to getting her period.

We haven't been doing anything different than in the past. She is considerably stressed out... but I'm not sure she's any more stressed out than she has been in the past.

She is wet inside her vagina (I'm not sure if that is just by default... but inside it doesn't seem any dryer than in the past). And she did get very wet "outside" of her vagina the most recent time, only to get dry in the time it took for me to take off my shirt. And I was not able to arouse her again.

She swears it isn't me and I do believe her. We have been having problems lately dealing with distance and what not.

Any ideas? Could it be pregnancy? Could it be some kind of infection? She did have an infection over the summer.

I ALWAYS use a condom... always. And I pull out, even with the condom on.

Never use lube... I've never had to.

She is not on any birth control... though it's obvious she should be to correct her irregular cycles. She's a 110 lb girl and her period lasts 6 or 7 days usually.

The one time we are kind of afraid of is a time I thought I might have initially went to put the condom on inside out on accident (it was dark).

I use the Trojan Extended Pleasure Condom (with the bonzocane numbing stuff on the inside). When I thought I put it on inside out, I wasn't going to take a chance. So we decided to do oral simultaneously. Well, she mentioned that it tasted terrible and her mouth was getting numb. "It wasn't on inside out then," I said, since the numbing liquid is only on the inside. So, I put it on and we had sex.

Is her lack of a arousal a potential sign of pregnancy? I mean, she got aroused... I know that for a fact... it just went away quick.

Why is this problem so sudden though?

Should I go to a different section to ask potential pregnancy questions?

She got her period... what a relief. I made sure she meant the whole deal, not just some spotting and she said it was the real deal.

Neither of us are in any position to be dealing with a child right now, so we're very relieved.

We've decided we're not going to have sex again until she gets on birth control. It's just too risky, and, now, we'd be so nervous every time.

But we're still lead to the problem of her dryness. I'm hoping it is just stress-related.

Could it be some kind of infection? Se had an infection a few months back, but that involved pain when she urinated and a lot of discharge, I think. I dont know what the condition was exactly, but she had to take some kind of medicine that turned her urine a bright orange color. However, I dont think she's showing the same symptoms.
