Herpes - Any other way to contract?

Ok ok... this will sound cliche but... it's the absolute truth... I'm trying to help a friend out who has a husband that I believe to be cheating... and well of course she doesn't.

This morning my friend tested positive for vaginal herpes... she's not been with another partner in over 6 years (married for 4, dated him for 2)... when she confronted her hubby the first words out of his mouth were..."you better not be screwing around!"  So now she thinks there must be some other way you can contract the problem.  Is there?  I mean isnt vaginal herpes an "STD" hence how you get it?

Is there any other way to get it other than having sex?  I.e. toilet seat, swimming, etc...??  JUST checking..

thanx

You can't get herpes from a toilet seat as

well the blisters you see on people lips some of those not all but some are a form of herpes and correct me if im wrong but i was told by a md that a pop kiss from soem one with one of those even before its even visible you can catch it and if person has them or just before there is flair up they can use a public restroom and there no chance at spreading it i cant see it not a chance im willing to take

A kiss is a lot more different than using a toilet seat, because if you're French kissing, you're exchanging body fluids while they still are in contact with the body.
