Ladies I need help with something. My boyfriend had a small light rash on his member. we thought it was a yeast infection. So he went to the doctor a couple of weeks ago, and she said it was an allergic reaction to a lubricant. Which we had just started using astroglide. She gave him a cream and it went away in less than a week. So we stopped using it. Then I went to the doctor too, about two weeks ago for vaginal discharge and itching thinking it was a yeast infection, and I must have given it to him. But the doctor said it was bacterial vaginosis and she treated me with an antibiotic for a week. All the symptoms got better but I still have a little discharge, no where near as much. So we havent had sex in two weeks, he lives four hours away. Then this weekend we did it, and the rash came right back the very next day. He put his cream on and said it would go away in a week, but he thinks I still have bv. I m going back to the doctor. But I dont understand what I could be giving him and why? this is crazy, and its never happened before. Obviously its not an std or the doctor what have said so, and I have gotten tested plenty of times and its always negative. This is a problem. we could just start using condoms, but I need to know what this is. When we have sex it does hurt on entry. Its like its too dry which is why we were using the lubricant. And sometimes I get these vaginal tears afterwards. but thats because hes not too good at foreplay and Im not wet enough when we have sex. But Does anyone have any idea about what Iv just explained? If you can help please respond to this note. Thank you all so much!

This is probably going to raise more questions than give you answers because I'm a bit baffled by this, too, and my thought processes are going off in different tangents.
The biggest question in my head is, "Could this be an allergic reaction to latex?"
