Julie,

We did three as well this time. I had the same...gulp...feeling. At least you have a little time to let it sink it. We meet with the 2 drs minutes before the transfer and that is when they recommended 3. Two were really good an one was fair, but still had a solid chance. So we took the leap and did three. With an almost 4yr old son, we know the risk, but we also know that with as much as we want another 1, we would feel totally blessed if we got all three to stick.

Our 1st round when we conceived DS, we did 2, but we only had 2 good ones to use, so that helped make our decision.

Best of luck to you.

Jen,

Good luck with your Beta on Monday.

Sorry, I've just realised that it reads like I'm having 3 Embryos transfered.

We are only allowed to transfer 2 in the UK :(

We have 3 Embryos but we'll have to freeze one :(

But if for some reason they let us transfer 3, I think we'd go for it :)

Ladies, thanks for all your kind words and luck.

The Embryo Transfer went well. We transfered one 3 cell embryo and one 4 cell embryo. The 3rd didn't make it, but that's fine, better to happen before transfer.

Now I am lying in bed taking it easy.

I'm so happy to hear that all is going well. Why do they only allow 2 to be put back in the UK? Seems silly that it isn't based on individual circumstaces. I'll be excited to see how your 2ww goes!

Hi Sara,

The UK very heavily (some would say, overly) regulate IVF.

Under 35's seem to only be allowed one embryo, 35-37 are allowed 2 and over 37 are allowed 3. 3 is the max.

It's all to do with reducing multiple births and and risks associated with multipul births.

We were steared towards single embryo transfer but I ask if it was law that we were only allowed one, as I'm 35 so thought we could have 2.

So we chose 2.

Currently in bed being over cautious :-)

How are you doing hun?

Hi Chris,

Thanks for the vibes.

Wow , you are starting stimulating today? Good Luck. Grow follicles grow...

We don't tend to do Betas over here, they just use the pee sticks.

I'm supposed to test, or go to the clinic with FMU sample to test 14 days after embryo transfer, which will be 2nd April.
