Hi - are any of you out there?
I'm back - again. I was going to be part of February cycle but it didn't work out due to travel, then April didn't work for the same reason and now I'm starting and will have a May cycle.
Anyone with me?
TTC#1 since Jul 2005
IVF #3 May 2010: BCPs, FSH, Menopur, Ganirelix. ER planned for 4/9 and ET on 4/14 (hopefully).
IVF #2 August 2009: BCPs, FSH, Menopur, Ganirelix (to improve egg quality). ER 8/26, 25 eggs retrieved, 17 fertilized. BFN. One embryo on ice.
IVF #1 April 2009: BCPs, Lupron, FSH, Menopur - Retrieval on 4/13. Transferred two grade 4 Morulas on 4/18. BFP!! Beta #1 17 on 4/27, Beta #2 135 on 4/30, Beta #3 403 on 5/3,ended in m/c on 5/5
Previous Treatments: Five previous IUIs - two with Clomid, three with FSH. Fourth IUI resulted in BFP, however ended in m/c at 5wks in October of 2007. First HSG in 10/06 revealed one semi-blocked tube, second HSG in 7/08 revealed one completely blocked tube. Led to tubal laparoscopy in 12/08. Other than that, cycles, hormone levels and everything else is normal.
Special Testing: 6/09 Karyotype (genetic) testing for both me and DH, and Thrombophillic (immunological) testing all came back normal for both.
About Us: Me (34) - active, healthy otherwise except for emergency Galbladder removal surgery in 1/09. DH (39) - active, healthy - sperm slightly low count but good morphology and motility.

IVF#1: ER: 05/11/10 ET: 05/14/10 HPT+ 05/24/Hi! I am planning to start a cycle in May. This will be my first and I'm a bit nervous about the process, but very excited! I tried an IUI cycle, but the doc canceled it due to way too many follicles (I have PCOS) - too much risk of high multiples.
So... IVF it is! I wish you all luck!!!
Hi guys... welcome to our May cycles together.
I have been on a roller coaster with this, during this year and hopefully this cycle will actually happen finally. I've had two canceled cycles since the year started.
Looking forward to doing this with you! Pamela,thats great that you got insurance, its not all of us that have that luxury. I do too and am very, very grateful. We wouldn't be able to try so much if we didn't.
Shannon, if you've done an IUI before, this is very similar so don't worry. The first time for me was very nerve racking but it ended up being just a more advanced version of the IUI actually.

IVF#1: ER: 05/11/10 ET: 05/14/10 HPT+ 05/24/i'm in too, ladies!!! ordered meds today, and starting lupron on 5/3!!
IVF#1 resulted in two embies, both of which transferred, and ended in chemical preg in 11/07. IVF#2 was almost cancelled when it resulted in very few follicles, but went on to do it and ended up with only ONE embie, transferred in 1/08, and my little man was born in October 2008!! (it's true what they say that it only takes one!) my reproductive issues are kind of a mystery. possible endo, possible ovulation disorder, high-ish FSH last time, but now it's within normal limits (??... whatever)
i'm what they call a "poor responder", so we're being a little more aggressive with meds this time. i am among the fortunate minority with insurance coverage for fertility and IVF treatments. (thanks illinois!)
this board and the preg & parenting after IVF board were awesome supports during my IVF process and pregnancy, SO welcome to the newbies and hi to some familiar faces!!

OMG I can't believe we will actually be cycling together again.
Yep, still here... I tried to do a cycle in Feb, then in March and April, it just kept getting canceled because of one thing or another but this time there is no stopping me!
I have been taking it easy really, just focusing on work and I have been seeing a therapist that has changed my life. Everything from my relationship, to my work to my personal feelings are so much more stable now. At least going into this I am more emotionally prepared for what lies ahead.
DH is good, he bounced back after his brother talked to him and gave him some good advice, and now that I'm more stable he is as well. I am with you, I think a lot of this is luck and hopefully its our turn. How have you been? I bet you enjoyed your emotional holiday. I just took my first shot in about 7 months, I'm totally ready to start and give it another chance. That's our plan also, if this doesn't work we'll do an FET (hopefully if eggs are ok) and then another fresh cycle - but we are hoping we don't need to think that far ahead.
