Cryopreservation?

Hi All! I'm a newbie to all of this...we are looking to do our first cycle in August. We got our IVF packet today, and I'm just wondering...
In your experience with insurance coverage, does it usually cover the cryopreservation of the embryos you don't use? Say we get 10 fertilized embies...we only want to transfer two at a time. Our insurance (United Healthcare) covers just about everything, but I'm not sure about this. I have a call in to find out, but thought I'd ask you all while waiting to hear.

Yes, but not the annual storage fees.
My experience with United when you call them is that they have no idea about IVF stuff, but maybe I've just gotten unlucky.

Hi there,
Just wanted to let you know that
Thanks so much ladies!
i don't know about anyone else, but my insurance does not cover anything dealing wiht infertility.. at least not when it comes to creating the babies...
anyway... the price i paid for 3 cycles of IVF included the cryopreservation of our 7 embies... so i don't know what the freeze cost separately.......
