Hello Ladies,

Well here we are again - getting ready to start another IVF.  I don't know if anyone remembers me - I had my IVF in Jan and although we got a BFP, it ended in miscarriage at week 10.  It was pretty devestating, since we had gone in for u/s, even seen the heartbeat and had just been released to obgyn.

We are ready to start again, so pretty excited to be cycling.  Anyone else cycling with me in August?

So now waiting for Day 1 of my period so I can call to schedule my mock transfer.  Then BCP for 2 weeks so I should be doing injections by early August.

I've also been doing acupuncture since early June just to keep me relaxed.  So far it's working, I feel pretty good about going into this and keeping my fingers crossed.

So who's cycling with me in August???.....lol.  Good luck to us all, ladies, and I'm here to offer my support to you.

Chris

Hi, I don't know how to copy your pretty formatting. :^( When I copy and paste it comes out plain. I can't even figure out how to change my font.

But, my status is same as Chris'. Starting BCP's very soon. Waiting for AF. I had a BFN from my Clomid cycle and my endometrial biopsy done yesterday. So, no more testing for me! Yay! And, good report is that new RE says I can use my own eggies. Combined FSH from Day 3 and 10 was ~14. She said they have to be under 21 to use my own eggs. :) And, progesterone was 20 on day 10. My TSH is down to ~1 which is the lowest ever so I'm so happy. Now, I just need to get this IVF ball a rollin!

Jill - That's great that you got the all clear from your new RE and that you can use your own eggs.

Hi, Hannah and everyone. This is my first IVF cycle, too. I just injected Gonal F for the first time this morning. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, so that was a big relief. And yes, Hannah, I found it all very overwhelming. When the pharmacy was reading all the medications and all the needles that my doctor ordered for me, I was so scared. I started crying when I got off of the phone.

Someone at my doctor's office just went over how to use all the drugs with me yesterday. One nice thing I found out was that all the needles aren't for me. Some (the long ones) are just for mixing sterile water with a powder, and then I'll get to put a smaller, thinner needle on to inject it into myself.

I'm just relieved that I did my first injection and I didn't pass out or anything. I feel a little out of it, but besides that, I'm fine. I hope everything goes well with all of us and we all get BFPs!

Hi! I'm currently on day 7 of injections for our 1st IVF cycle. We are nervous and excited. It's nice to know there are others on this same journey. I've already learned a lot reading posts.

Good luck to everyone, here's to all of us getting BFP this month!

Robin :)
