Hello Ladies,
Well here we are again - getting ready to start another IVF. I don't know if anyone remembers me - I had my IVF in Jan and although we got a BFP, it ended in miscarriage at week 10. It was pretty devestating, since we had gone in for u/s, even seen the heartbeat and had just been released to obgyn.
We are ready to start again, so pretty excited to be cycling. Anyone else cycling with me in August?
So now waiting for Day 1 of my period so I can call to schedule my mock transfer. Then BCP for 2 weeks so I should be doing injections by early August.
I've also been doing acupuncture since early June just to keep me relaxed. So far it's working, I feel pretty good about going into this and keeping my fingers crossed.
So who's cycling with me in August???.....lol. Good luck to us all, ladies, and I'm here to offer my support to you.
Chris

Hi, Nancy. Wow, that's a fabulous number of eggs. Kudos to your ovaries! I hope many have been fertilized.

Hi, Leah. Wow, you have lots of mature follies. I hope they produced lots of eggs for your doctor to grab today. I had my egg retrieval this morning, too. Wow, I'm so into the medication they gave me during the surgery. It was euphoric. :) I hope you had something similar.
My doctor got 8 eggs from me, which is small compared to what you got probably, but for me, it's wonderful. He had only anticipated getting 4 or maybe 6, so 8 is YAY!
I hope you are well and resting. Good luck to everyone else on this board, too!
:) Lynn
HI ladies -

Just got called from my nurse- she said the embryologist says our embies look good and we're definitely having a 5dt on Monday! Our clinic doesn't give any details regarding embryo development until transfer day, so all I know is that enough of the 12 must be dividing well enough to make the embryologist confident in waiting until Monday. :-)
I'm finally starting to feel a bit better this morning from the ER- my abdominal swelling and bloating is a bit more tolerable today. I still get exhausted easily though.
Now I'm just hurrying up and waiting 2 more days, lol!

I am definitely a little late in this message board stuff.
Hi, Everyone. I found out today that all 5 of our embryos are doing well. It's day three and they are at 8 cells, so it's perfect. Yay. We'll be doing the transfer on Monday.
Leah--I'm so happy to hear that you're feeling a bit better today and that your embryos are well on their way, too. I saw your post about the bath. I don't know about that; my doctor's office hasn't mentioned not taking baths in between. Good luck to you on Monday. I think we'll both do wonderfully.
Beth--welcome to the board. I know the needles are tough, but hopefully you'll get used to it at some point. I think I did. And now I have 5 growing embryos. :) I think I may have only had 10 or less follicles, so I think 11 sounds great. Hang in there. You can do it.
Thanks for all of your support!

Hi everyone.
Hi Brigid,
Don't worry! That has happened to me before. The nurse is definitely right. So many organs on the left, and the increase in the follies on the right can squeeze out and cause the left ovary to hide away. But, more than likely there are follies growing in there and I bet you will see them at your next appt.
Take care,

Aug/Sept - new RE, new IVF attempt, new hope
HI Beth - welcome to the board!!!
