So apparently there are quite a few of us cycling in September, so let's start a September Buddies group. I know quite a few of us introduced ourselves under 'who else is doing IVF in Sept', so why doesn't everyone check in here and we can start a progress chart?
I am excited to be starting again. I'm currently on 1st week of BCP's, one more week to go. I go in for my baseline on Sept 5th, and take my first Lupron shot that day, if all is well.
Let's have a great September, ladies, with lots of BFP's! :)

Hi ladies!!
Hello,
I am also starting a cycle in September. This is our 3rd and we are transferring 2 perfect embryos that were frozen from a failed cycle in December. We have tried IUI & IVF and this is probably our last try. I am 41 and so is DH so if this doesn't work then we are moving on to adoption, once we save up the money...ugh! So anyway here I am for the 3rd lucky frozen embryo transfer.
I have been on BCP's since last Wednesday and I take my last one Friday then my baseline is scheduled for Monday (if AF shows as she is supposed to) and if all looks as it should I start Estrace. Our transfer is tentatively scheduled for Sept 17th. I have also been doing acupuncture for the past few weeks in an effort to improve our chances.
I am excited and nervous because I want this to work so badly and there seems to be such a finality to this since it's our last 2 embryos. I am trying to stay positive. I look forward to getting to know you all.
p.s. can't remember who said they didn't have a sharps container but you can use a gatorade bottle or something similar as long as it has a lid and then take that to your doctor and they can dispose of the needles.

Hi Shannon - yep it's me who has the estimated ER date of Sept 8th - I start stims on Saturday.
The gonal-f and menopur are two different shots (don't mix them together) and they are done at the same time, one right after another.
Hi Shannon,
I think we're on the same schedule. I start Follistim and Menopur on 8/28. For me, these are 2 different meds. The Follistim has a nifty pen which makes it super easy to insert. The Menopur (I'm on a LOT) I have to mix together 4 vials to make one shot. Follistim is very similar to Gonal-F; both are FSH. I'm not sure about whether you can combine the Gonal-F with the Menopur though. My ER should be somewhere between 9-8 and 9-10. So, we're buddies!
