I masturbate frequently when I was teenage until adult and reduce drastically my masturbation for the past 1 1/2 years after marriage. Now I feel wanted to start again to masturbate.

Is it safe for me to start masturbate again since my age now is going to be 35 & is there any other side effect or will I suffer any health problems in the future? Please advice me.

Masturbation is completely normal and safe. You will not suffer any health problems in the future. The only possible adverse effect is if your masturbation habits begin to interfere with your desire for sex with your spouse.

There is no set definition of "overdoing it" when it comes to masturbation. If a person were to masturbate to the point of being sore to the touch, I suppose that could be considered overdoing it. Also, it would become a problem if it has a negative effect on other parts of your life. For instance, if someone neglected work, family or social obligations in favor of masturbation, that would definitely be a problem. Otherwise, it is a normal, safe and healthy actvity that can be enjoyed as often as you like.
