Trynna posted about the death of her husband in response to one of our members. I know you will want to welcome her.
it is very difficult to lose a loved one.my husband died 2/12,after a serious battle with cancer.we were together for 31 years.he was all i had in the world.people tell me to get over it...how..i feel it is better to become a recluse.stay away from the outside world....then you cant hurt anymore.i hope you dont take that path...you probably have family..turn to them..they love you.........

Trynna,
I want to welcome you to this board. You will find that the women here are very compassionate, caring, understanding and supportive.
It is not easy to loose some one you loved for so many years. He was your partner, and your husband. This is not somthing that you forget over night. Give yourself permission to grieve and to remember the man you loved and the memories you had together. May the memories help you through your sorrow.
As Barb mentioned, hopefully you will not stay alone, and be with people who love you such as your family and perhaps some close friends that could try to understand what you are going through.
My thoughts and prayers are with you , and know that you are not alone, we are all here for you. you will always have a soft place to fall.
