WIll not be much help for a while

The 11 year old daughter of a very close friend (she was caregiver to my youngest for 2 years also) died last night. I will be here once in a while, but for the next few days I want to be with my friends and their surviving daughter.

What should the drinking age be?

CO-CL to Stress and Women, Bereavement and Healing,
Beth,
I am so sorry to hear such sad news.It is just unbearable when a child dies.
Thanks Mary, Kim and Barb
DH and I went over tonight for a couple of hours, and I had stopped by before work this morning (late for my inservice, but some things are more important!) I, of course, brought food...some scones, pumpkin bread and fresh peaches.
Tonight I could see the coping skills colliding. The mom was sleeping, the dad was drinking, the older sister was looking lost.
I am keeping them in my prayers, because G-d needs to hold them together.
Beth,
I beleive that we all understand that at this time you need to be with your friends and her children. She is very fortunate to have you in her life.
I have this little poem that I would like to share with your friends and children.
Today brings memories
Of our loved one gone to rest
She will never be forgotten
By the ones that loved her best.
In the midst of your friends' sorrow may they find peace and hope for all their tomorrows, and may their sweet daughter rest in peace.
Love always,
Miriam
