Does time really heal?

I keep being told that time is a great healer. Maybe it is but you know I don't think that time really does heal. I think it just lets the wounds scab over and they can so easily be ripped off again. I think that we reach a level of acceptance that what has happened has happened and yes, we do move forward and end up creating a new life but it is not the life we thought we would have and there is where the pain continues.

Sorry, I am in the middle of one of those down days.

I think the pain lessens over time, but I don't think it's every really gone.

Hi Amy,
those down days are just so hard sometimes. It is comforting to know that I am not going crazy, other people feel the same way.

Those hard days really hurt! Its so hard! I do not think time heals, it just helps change things. We learn that things can change and aren't what we expect, but time can't heal all the pain and what is missing from our life. HUGS!!
