Yeast diet question

Since yeast seems to be so popular right now, I was wondering if anyone has tried yeast free bread? I saw some in a local health food store. The first thing I noticed was that it was very heavy! Has anyone ever tried to make yeast free bread? I saw on a website that baking soda and lemon juice can be used for a substitute. Any experiences?

Bread is such a big part of our diets. I just hate to give it up completely!

Any comments would be appreciated!

I'm not sure what this has to do with gynecology... eating yeast will not give you a yeast infection.

If you read the diet books on yeast, they all say to cut out bread because of the yeast and enriched flour.

And, if your like me, my yeast infection starts in the intestines. Everything I eat contributes to the yeast there. Like sugar and alcohol feeds the yeast. I certaintly don't want to do that!

But, thanks for the response!
