Hi,

I hope someone might have some insight for me. Are there any conditions etc. that might be helped by adding some baking soda to your bath water? And if so what is it supposed to do and how much would one use?

Thanks!

When I was a child, I often got yeast infections

as a result of food allergies. I remember my mom

always putting baking soda in my bath when that

happened and it brought me some comfort.

My doctor told me to do this when my labia was swollen. It helped. I just did it last night to help with my yeast infection symptoms and I already feel better. I don't know how much baking soda to use. I just sprinkle a bunch in. The water feels kind of slippery. I fill the water just enough to cover my legs. My doc recommended sitting in it for 10-15 minutes. I think this is called a sitz bath? Please correct me if I'm wrong!

I hope that helps some!
