Please help identify

I was wondering if anyone could help me identify this... Here are some symptoms:
1) Frequent need to urinate and pressure on bladder
2) Vaginal itching, not so much a burning sensation
I'm debating whether this is a urinary infection or a yeast infection or neither. I don't seem to have the dark/foul urine odor or the "cottage cheese" discharge, but it seems rather like a mix of both... Can someone please help me? And is there over-the-counter treatment for UTIs?
Thanks.

Hmmmm, let's see. You definitely won't have an odor with a yeast infection. And I don't believe frequent urination is a sign of a YI either. Have you had a yeast or urinary tract infection before? Have you been to a doctor and been diagnosed?
If you haven't been diagnosed before, I suggest you make an appointment. I don't believe there are any over-the-counter products for UTI's. Other than cranberry juice!
How long have you had these symtoms? This might be out of left field but, could you be pregnant? Hey, you never know!
Sorry I couldn't help you out more. Maybe some of the other ladies here have some suggestions.
Take care,
Kristin
UTI's and yeast infections are possibilities, but some STD's also bring with them more frequent urination and the like as well. There are no OTC treatments for them, and mis-treating with OTC yeast medication could potentially make the irritation worse.
Since you're unsure, better to see your doc rather than potentially do more damage.
