Pregnancy Possible?

its me again....confused as ever now thanks to the doc.
I just had a question for you guys to see what you thought.
pregnancy tests by blood are usually VERY accurate correct? Can they be wrong? and if so does anyone know the failure rate?
The last time i could have possibly gotten pregnant would have been 8-16, the test was taken on 9-15. The hcg would have shown up in my blood if i was by then right?
Doc told me she thought i was pregnant the other day i took a test it said no, but then she called me today and said she wanted me to come back in and take another test in a couple of weeks. I guess I should of asked her these questions, but wasnt thinking about it at the time.
I wish she would make up her mind! This has become very nerve racking!
thanks again for your help

Men and nonpregnant women: less than 5 international units per liter (IU/L)
Pregnant women:
about 24 to 28 days after the last menstrual period (LMP): 5-100 IU/L
4 to 5 weeks after the LMP: 50-500 IU/L
5 to 6 weeks after the LMP: 100-10,000 IU/L
peak, 14 to 16 weeks after the LMP: 12,000-270,000 IU/L
But, it's possible that it was taken too early. You could have implanted late. Hang in there! You could try a urine test in about a week. If you can hold out that long! It should show up by then.
Good luck to you! Let us know how things are going and what the doctor says!
