stomach pains

I've been having pains in my lower abdomen for the past month. They started as soon as my last period ended. I thought they might've been from something that I ate, especially since they started the first week I was at college. However, they don't come after I eat. They come at random times like when I'm in bed about to fall asleep or when I'm watching television. They're really sharp pains. Sometimes they hurt so bad I end up curled up. I thought they might go away when my period came. But my period came and the pains are still here. I'm debating whether or not I should see my doctor about them. Does anyone else have these pains and if they have had them, what did they do about them? Thanks.

Welcome!

If it's been a month and the pain hasn't gone away, I'd make an appointment to see your doctor.

hey, so here is the thing. I have had the same exact problem. I truley think that your diet may have a part in it. NOt just what you ate, but what you eat on a daily basis. I still think you should have it checked out, and make sure to respond with what it is. I'd be really curious, because, i too, experienced the same thing. OF course though, only if you feel comfortable to share. I'm sure it's not anything serious though.
