Pad Sensitivity

Just wondering if anyone else here is highly sensitive to pad as i am... If you are, what do you do about it? I've tried unscented, all cotton and tons more... Yet i still end up with irritated skin and sometimes yeast infections... This may be far fetched, but is there an alternative? Fortunately, especially at this time in my life i am blessed with extreme light periods. In return, i have to wear mini pads which limits me to what kind of pads i use... Just wondering if anyone else has had any luck in this situation. I've asked the gynecologist and she doesn't know.

Thanks everyone!

You could try tampons...

I'm the same way. I'm ok during my period, but as soon as it ends, my outer area *hurts* for a few days. Like, bad. Its gets.. dry? and the skin kinda flakes off and.. it ain't pretty. But this just started for me a few periods ago. It never happened bef0re. As much as I hate to, I'm think I might have to try tampons soon. (I tried them once in high school and could never quite get the hang of getting them in there.. and the one time I did, I was sooo uncomfortable.. But that was a good ten years ago, maybe I could figure them out now.. :) )

whether pads or tampons, consider the "natural" type. I have no idea if its appropriate, but you may want to check them out. They are available at high end natural food stores.
