LLQ pain, not a cyst

I took the advice I got from you guys and went in for an ultrasound because of the left lower quadrant pain I was experiencing. I went for the ultrasound (vaginal) yesterday and there are no cysts on either of my ovaries (Thank God). My gyn sent me for a CT of the abdomin today to r/o kidney stones (I have a hx of kidney stones). The only stone that showed up was the one in my right kidney that has been there for over a year.
The problem is that my gyn kept saying if it wasn't a cyst or a kidney stone, the only other thing she could think of was endometriosis. My mother had endometriosis (bad) and I am scared to death. I know the only way to dx is by laproscope, so it isn't for sure that I have it, but everything that I said yesterday she said sounded like endometriosis.
Any advice? Anyone suffering from endometriosis that could give a little info on the subject.
Thanks

I don't know anything about endo but I'll give you the link to the board.
