Hey Everyone,

I've decided that I'd like to try the keeper and stop using tampons and pads...but I'm concerned about it being messy or unsanitary and stuff like that. Does anyone here use it? Would you recommend it? Where can I get one? Any info is greatly appreciated...thanks!

I havent used the Keeper ( or Divacup as its sold as) but have heard a couple ladies either on this board or the birth control board talk about this one. Here is a website that sells it ( the manufacterer) they have a one year guarantee ( which is pretty darn good) and the price is pretty decent too 25$ for a long term investment. I hope you like it if you try it. I would try it but im preggers so i dont have that problem right now. :) maybe after this baby! Have a great day! :) heres the link:

Yes, there was a discussion about Instead on the Birth Control board.

Had not heard of the keeper, but had heard of instead, and have used. Mostly I use it for when we want to fool around, during that time.....works well!

Removing the softcup is messy, needs to be done while sitting on the toilet, or in the shower.

I worry about the keeper, being reuable. I'd be afraid you were just inviting infection in if you didn't properly clean the device. Instead is meant to be thrown away.

Just my 2!
