Should I worry?

I am a bit confused about my period. I thought it had ended, but I'm still feeling slight cramps, but not menstrual-type cramps, almost like my uterus is still contracting a bit. My period started last Sunday, and I thought ended this past Friday. I wasn't bleeding any, meaning after I quit using tampons there was no stains on my underwear, and didn't have cramps. Last night I had sex and when I went to the bathroom, I noticed there was a faint trace of blood. I thought oh god maybe I'm not off my period quite yet, so I checked my vagina, and there was blood coming out, although still very faint as if I was draining and toward the end of my period. Today I noticed very faint blood, and I am still feeling those "contractions". I am on bcp; I take Ortho-tri-cyclen Lo, and have been on Ortho-tri-cyclen 28 (recently switched to the Lo)for almost 2 years. I have never missed a period or missed a pill. I make sure to take my pill right when I wake up. I'm very confused as should I worry or should I do anything?

Any advice would be well received and appreciated. Thank you so much.

hmmm. It might be a good idea to call your gynecologist just in case!

I started the Ortho-tri-cyclen Lo a month ago, already been through one pack. I get my bcp through my sister, instead of having to pay for them each month. She's a midwife so she just sends me sample packs, but I waited too long to get them this time from her, so I had to fill my prescription for Ortho-tri-cyclen 28 which was what I've been on for almost 2 years. Do you think switching the brand and really hormone levels is what's making me feel crampy? I did a medicated douche earlier today thinking that would help. I feel better knowing I did that, but am still feeling cramps. They're not severe, just annoying since I am not on my period. thanks for the advice earlier!
