Uncontrollable periods

I was put on the pill for regular, but long periods (12-13 days). On Yasmin, my period still lasted 8 days. After 3 packs and 5 days into the 4th pack, my doctor told me to stop taking it because of severe nausea and a headache that painkillers weren't helping. 2 days after stopping the pill, I started bleeding again. Sorry I'm being confusing :) But this period started just 4 days after the last one stopped. And it is heavy! How is it possible that so much lining could have built up after 4 days? Is this unusual and a sign that I have an undiagnosed problem, or is this typical? Also I still have some nausea, though not as severe. Is that normal? Could it be other hormones besides the pill that are making me sick? I had my hormones checked before I started the pill, and I had elevations of prolactin, testosterone, androstenedione, and 17 hydroxy progesterone. Thanks for any advice!

I'm so sorry you're going through all of this.
2. Write down everything you want to know before your appt, take the paper with you, and ask everything.
3. Bleeding after stopping the pill is fairly common.
