my boss is 60 years old shes in fairly good health and has gone regularly for her yearly paps-she went yesterday afternoon and the doctor told her he had a concern her vagina was white?she said he wants to do a biopsy?She didnt ask any questions.She said it was on the outside,not inside?Of course shes never taken a mirror to look?we know it should be pinkish-what does it mean?

Hi Julia,

I am certainly no expert on this, but it could simply mean that she has an infection of some sort. If she has been taking antibiotics lately, it could also mean that the "good" bacteria has died--and there are natural ways to cure this problem.

It sounds like she may have vulvar atrophy.
