Are either one of you smokers?? My DH use to be the same way, he had a very "stong smell"... When he quit smoking that went away.. so I'm going to assume that was the connection.
How really is that possible? Could it be more the fact that an odor prior to sex rather than after sex indicates one type of infection over another? I recall my dr. always asking me if the smell was more prevelant or existant before or after sex. I have never been told that it is possibly due to his semen and my lubrication/bodily fluids.
Hi cinder.....wow, thats amazing! Which gets me to thinking. If I smell down there due to what NOW is found out to be a BV (amazing took 3 lab tests!!! and 2 different drs.!!!) why cant he possibly have some kind of infection that causes an odor. Yeah, yeah I know his plubming is different than a females but.....hmmmm.....I sure dont have much faith in doctors anymore so who the hell really knows!!
It's possible that his ejaculate doesn't mix well with your vaginal fluid.

Well, I don't know about your guy, but I can't stand the smell of my boyfriends semen.
