odd cycle

Since I've had children my periods are pretty regular and consistent. My first two days are VERY heavy and it slows down and stops over the next three or four days. I am now on day two (I guess really day three) and there really hasn't been enough of a "flow" to even use a tampon. It's dark brown (which I'm used to seeing the last day) and kind of stringy or clumpy. Is this normal?

thanks

Well, it's hard to say if it's normal or not.

That is what mine did but then I started my "regular" period 6 days later and after it was done went back to the dark brown then went to red. I finally had to see a Dr. who put me on progesterone pills for 10 days. This was after 20 days of spooting. The progesterone pills have made the spotting stop for now but once I go off of them I should start my regular period. The Dr. said I did not ovulate last month which seems odd. He never once questioned pregnancy because I have had a tubla done. I did go into my medical Dr. who questioned pregnancy and he did lab for thyroid and also did a pregnancy test since they had my blood anyway. I have not got the results back yet. I'm suppose to get them today.

Well, it's going on day 5 now and hardly even spotting, but when I wipe it is red now. It's just really strange. My husband was "snipped" three years ago - he never took a sample in to see if it worked, but we haven't been pregnant since. Could there be a possibility of pregnancy? Isn't a vasectomy 99.9 effective?

thanks!

It's not unheard of that a vasectomy may reverse itself.
