Not Sure if You Can Help...

We moved a year ago and the pediatrician we had before said my daughter had no vaginal opening(2 1/2 years old). He prescribed Progestrin creme and said it would open on it's own.
We since moved and "new" dr thought all was ok. Daughter got a bladder infection and I questioned her on this and she said she thought it was all resolved. She said it's a birth defect. And it's something she should have been treated for by a specialist. Does anyone know anything about this?? My sister is a nurse and the dr she works for said sometimes the girls with this can be missing internal female organs and to make sure they do an ultrasound to make sure that she has a vagina before they give her estrogen creme to open her up.
