Hi ladies... Wow, am I glad I have found this board! I am 35 and have always had my period like clockwork. I am not on birth control or anything that would cause my period to do weird things. I am also not under any stress. My LMP was on October 17th and I have take 3 different brands of HPT and all were negitive. I have never in 23 yrs missed a period unless I was pregnant and then always tested positive on the HPT's. I wonder if this is perimenopause setting in or what. I really don't think I am pregnant since my husband has had a "V". Now I am worried that I have some type of cancer or something that is bad. Oh, I should mention that I had a pap done on the 22nd of October so I have recently had an exam and my dr said things looked great. Any thoughts would be greatly appreicated!

Wow, I can't belive it your problem sounds exactly the same as mine. My hubby had a VC about 4-1/2 years ago too, I too recently have stopped having my period my last one was the first week of Jan. I had a pap at the end of Dec. all is well with that. I have NEVER missed a period either except due to pregnancy! I do have some unusal stress going on in life but, have been dealing with it pretty well (at leat I thought I was) and I had 3 teeth pulled the end of January (I wonder if that had anything to do with it?) I called my doctor and he said to do another hpt in a month ( I already did 2 both negative) and he said to call him when I have missed my period for 6 months! Geeze wiz, I can't belive I have to wait but I guess that is how long they want to wait until they start testing for other things. Good grief. I am only turning 33 in May I can't belive I am missing periods due to perimenapause but, I have no family history to go by since my grandmother and my mother both had hystorectomy's (Sp) in their 30's. Any suggestions or info would be greatly appreciated!
