Surgical menopause & emotional symptoms

I had a partial hysterectomy at 25. I had one ovary remaining. I had it removed last Wednesday and for the last 3 days all I can do is cry. I'm on estrogen therapy but it doesn't seem to be helping. Is this a natural symptom and how do I get it under control? I feel like I'm losing my mind. I'm only 38 and I can't function like this, I need to return to work but I can't possibly face patients this way. I work in a doctor's office. Someone please help, I need advice. Thankyou.

Welcome!
I imagine your hormones are pretty out of whack right now which is probably why you feel so bad!
Have you posted this on the Hysterectomy board?
