Help! Someone out there has had to gone through the balloon alblation. It has been 3 and a half weeks since I had my surgery for heavy/irregular bleeding. I came home in severe pain - percocet did nothing and I still have a discharge.
I did this because I work full time and part time and can't be off of my feet for a great length of time. I was told that I would have the same results, shorter recovery than a hyster. Now, my legs are chaffed and sore, my body is tired, and my doctor says it's normal for this to last up to four weeks. (I could have taken four weeks off for the hyster if I would have known this.)
I was also informed by the nurse that I should have a period coming up soon. (I can't tell since in the last 84 days, I've had to wear some type of protection for 58 of them.
Please, someone help. What do I do? Where do I turn?
