Recurring ovarian cysts

The first painful cyst occurred 4 years ago in December of 99. Then again almost two years to the date in December of 2002… Both burst & I ended up in the ER. Now again it’s December & I’ve got another painful ovarian cyst, (why December, I do not know). I always get them on my right side, this one has not burst yet. Every time I go to my obgyn they say they just need to keep an eye. I cannot take birth control pills, when I did 8 years ago, when first married…it caused me severe high blood pressure. I was 23/24 at the time, with blood pressure of 190 over 80. My blood pressure otherwise is always normal. My menstrual periods are & always have been like clockwork, & no bleeding in between time. Is there a possible cause for concern here?
I’m 31 & we don’t have any children, we are seriously thinking about conceiving, so am afraid of eventually losing my right ovary.
Sorry this is so long…. Thank you for your time…

Getting a cyst once
It is a big deal though when it’s painful… I’m aware they are common. Women actually form several small cysts on the ovaries every month, which is just a normal function of the ovaries getting ready to produce an egg. I do get them a few times a year, but the problem being, I get them BAD at least once a year…meaning PAINFUL…& they rupture…which is even more painful… That’s my concern, I keep getting painful enlarged cysts, which rupture, & are always on my right ovary. I’ve had ultra sounds & vaginal sonograms, but the doctors always want to play the wait & see game. This current cyst has been there for 2 months, at the least. And the most annoying thing being I cannot take birth control pills like the doctor said she’d prescribe for me, if I could take them. It’s all so very annoying…to say the least…
Birth control pills may or may not help you.
