I have had severe pelvic and some irregular bleeding for all of 2003. I have been to 3 gyns who have yet to help much or even tell me whats wrong.
The pain is a constant pressure mostly on my left side, and it gets much worse with intercourse and before and during my period. I also sometimes have a stabbing pain inside my uterus, this is usually worse when I go to the bathroom during my period.
I have endo and pcos and my DR who treated me for the past 12 years said my only option was a hystermotcy I am only 35 and really am not ready for this. So I moved to Dr 2 a RE who said my pain was not related to endo at all and that I had these trigger points causing pain and he sent me his colleague, another GYN who specialized in these trigger points. I have seen Dr 3 , 3 times, they ruled out pelvic congestion and he says a hyst won't help my problem. He is having me try different anti- depressants to block the pain, but I don't tolerate the medicine well and I am still taking pain medicine. I just wish someone could say this is what is wrong and this is how it is fixed or even sorry we just can't help and you will be on pain pills the rest of your life.
I just wonder if I should be going to a different type of Dr or should I get out the phone book and try GYN #4. I wonder if Dr 4 is just agreeing with dr 3 cause they work together. I am suppose to go back to dr 4 next week and I really feel like its a waste of time.
I am about a week from my one year anniversary of this pain something I never would have expected to reach.
Sorry this is rather long, but any input would be greatly appreciated.
