Spot Bleeding

Hi I am hoping somone can help with my problem. I have always had really normal periods and still do but during the time I am not on my period I spot bleed I current do not take BC and haven't for 5 years. I know I am not pregnant because this is happening pretty frequently(every month for about 6months). I have no symptoms of cramps or back pain when this happens. I just want to be sure this is normal I am only 24 and it kinda scares me a little. Any ideas to what is would be helpful.

I posted a couple days ago with the same question.
My periods have always been normal, too. I'm 26 and don't take BC. Since August I have been spotting after my period ends. Sometimes for up to 5 days. I don't have any other symtpoms either. And it scares me, too.
I saw my gyn. in October. She examined me and gave me a blood test to see if my hormone levels are normal. Because unbalanced hormones can cause spotting, she said that would be fixed with going on BC until it evens out. But she said everything looked normal. I still have to monitor for spotting for the next couple months. If I do, she wants me to come back in to check for polyps. She didn't find any, but I guess she wants to check again. From reading other posts and looking them up- polyps aren't as scary as I thought they were. But I don't even know if that's what I have. I have an appt. next month to see her. I have continued to spot.
Also, I had a yeast infection last year from taking antibiotics. I took a Diflucan. A month and a half later I was spotting with no other symptoms. It turns out that Diflucan isn't effective for me, and I still had the infection. I was given a prescription for a cream that knocked it out completely.
You should call your doctor since your period changed and you are spotting. If you can, give her/him as much info. as you can regarding the dates, symptoms, any stressful events going on, and anything else you can think of. That way they can diagnose you with more accuracy. You should really get in touch with your doctor. There seems to be many reasons to spot, and they all need a doctor's attention. I hope I helped you :)
