Question....

I was on depo provera for 1 shot this time. I didn't get another cuz the dr's office was being pissy and wanted the money upfront. Yes we have insurance, I had asked them to rebill it as treatment for perimenopause which I am in but the dr said oh no your not....anyway, the question is....Why would I have a (so far) 12 day period with extremely bad cramping? The last two times I was on it this didn't happen. 1st time I was on it 5 yrs and took 3 yrs to get my period. 2nd time I was on it 9 months and took 6 months to get it. This time it came on the day I was to get my shot. I have lost 76lbs but why would this be happeneing and when should I start worrying about it being too long. I hate this, it isn't really heavy, just off and on crampy now and irritating. I really want to jump my dh but with clotting it is gross. No I haven't called the dr cuz I am mad. Any answers for me? Thanks:)

Lynn

Well I can't go on bcp for a month it messes up my blood sugar (type 2 diabetic). So I guess I will just see what happens when I get my next one...I am also in perimenopause, that will also cause this. Thanks for the answer I didn't know that about depo coming off it, never happened that way for me before when I was on it...Thanks again...and Yes I plan to find a obgyn or plan on educating her on peri...LOL
