Hellooo!
Have any of you had an ultrasound to diagnose an ovarian mass? If I remember right, some things can't really be seen on ultrasound...so I'm wondering what I should think here.
I had my annual exam last week, and asked her to pay a little extra attention to my left side since I've felt some weird symtoms there (like a gripping tension more than pain). When she did the pelvic she said that she definitely felt something that she couldn't separate from the ovary. So I went in today for an ultrasound (both pelvic and transvag)...the u/s tech said that the left ovary looked ok to her, just a very small cyst that is nothing.
My follow up with the doc isn't until the 9th, and I'm just curious what to expect? Since she definitely felt something (and since I definitely feel something!) I'm wondering if she'll want to do more tests to look for it or what. The way I feel, well it sort of feels like what I think adhesions might feel like, if that makes any sense...though there isn't any reason why I should suspect them (no abdominal surgeries, no known infections, no known endmetriosis, etc).
Any experience here? Whatcha think? Thanks!

Hmmm, I don't think it's much to worry about.
Hey Kristen!
I'm not really worried about it...I tend not to worry unless I know there's something to worry about.
