pregnancy/miscarriage question

I recently went to the doctor to confim a pregnancy and yes it was a positive pregnancy but some how the doctor says I'm barely pregnant could it be because I had both prenancy tests a week before my period was due and the pregnancy hormones are still low another reason why I don't have symptoms. Well the doctor told me to go back in two weeks to retest me for pregnancy and that if in two weeks I get a negative result then I wasn't really pregnant!!! what is he talking about has anyone had something like this happen help with feedback also she told me 1 out of 4 pregnancies end in miscarriage except people normally think is a late period now I'm more scared than ever I don't want to miscarry the baby to me a positive test is positive it can't say 2 weeks later " hey never mind you were never pregnant" but thats two pregnancy tests that were positive please help thanks

As far as not having syptoms yet, most women don't experience symptoms until they are around 6 - 8 weeks along, and some not until later than that. For my first I never had one day of morning sickenss or any other "symptom" of pregnancy. With my other two it was different each time.
If you are worried ( which you would be after talking to that Dr)wait a week or so and buy another hometest or go to a Pharmacy that tests and do another test. IF you read the instructions on most home tests it will say that it doesn't matter how dark the pink(or blue) line is, a line of any type in the results window ia a ++ test. Then I would find a good OB/GYN or Midwife to do your Prenatal care.
Hope this helps. {{{{{{Huggs}}}}}}
Praying that everything goes well for you.

Your doctor is right but sounds incredibly insensitive!
