vague diagnosis

I have been having pain in my lower abdomen for the past few weeks and finally got a gyn appt. this morning. She didn't feel anything unusual and there was no pain during the exam (it has been off an on), so she ordered an ultrasound and said that it's probably just cysts which are very common in women my age (27), and that it should not make it any more difficult to get pregnant (we're trying). My problem is my husband is military and I went to the one VA doctor they have instead of seeing the docs on base because I know all of them and hang out with them on a fairly regular basis, to embarrassing. So does this sound like a fairly common diagnosis. She said that they tend to go away on their own after a month or two, and she will let mw know what the ultrasound says, but that's not even until next Wed. I'm a cancer survivor, and I WANT DETAILS! My last smear was in June and it was normal, but she didn't do one today. Anyway, just wondered what others thought about the diagnosis.

Hi!
Yes, that's a fairly common diagnosis and if you were to explain those symptoms to me, I would have said the exact same thing!
