Hi everyone,
I'm hoping you guys can help me on this… Yesterday I went in for my colposcopy. It was THE MOST PAINFUL ONE IVE EVER HAD!!!! He took a biopsy and I jumped halfway across the table and screamed because it hurt so bad. I asked him why the last one wasn’t bad but this one was, and his exact words were "well, I just took a serious biopsy, you definitely have something going on down there now" - he said there are some "flat warts" on the cervix. He biopsied what looked like 2 of them to me. I said what is the next step and he said if this comes back negative (which it didn’t sound to me like its going to from him saying it definitely looks like something's going on down there), that he's going to do a cryo in the office and freeze the area. He said that should control this. But if it turns out positive, he said he's going to be more likely to do a leep in the hospital (they don’t do that in the office)… Is that an outpatient thing in the hospital or would I have to stay there? Either way, it just seems like this is getting more serious now. I left the office crying yesterday feeling like this is just not going to get any better. I'm really scared now! I'm really afraid of these procedures he described and I'm just petrified in general now.

Hi jetsluvr, I'm sorry things are getting so complicated and that your last biopsy was so painful.
