Question after Vaginal Surgery

Hi all, first time on here but I can't seem to see anything that's similar to my situation, so here goes:
I went into hospital on 9th Jan 08 as I was diagnosed with complete duplication of my reproductive system - I have two uterus', 2 seperate cervixes, and two vaginas separated by a septum, but only one vaginal entrance (if that makes sense). As a result, one uterus could drain properly each monthly cycle, but as the other vagina was blocked with no exit, the menstruation from the left uterus became trapped and built up over 11 years.
They removed the septum in January and drained the cavity, and created one normal vagina from the two, with obvious scar tissue where the septum was marsupialised (so I'm told).
My problem now, is that I feel like I have some sort of open wound? I've resumed intimacy with my partner, but I am bleeding afterwards. Sex is very tight to start but not overly painful, but I am bleeding almost constantly afterwards - it is now Monday night, we were last intimate on Friday but I am still bleeding.
I had a check up with my surgeon two weeks ago, who examined me and said everything was fine.
Is it likely that this bleeding will stop on it's own? Should I be worried? Help!
TIA for any replies!! :-)
Ellie.

Hi Ellie and welcome to the board.
I can only imagine that this was a complicated procedure you had in January.
