Cervical Inflammation??
| Tue, 03-04-2008 - 7:56pm |
Hi, I have been to my doctor like 5 times in the last two months and I just got my Cervix frozen because she said i had Chronic cervical inflammation. I was wondering if it keeps coming back after i heal should I try to use a vaginal treatment such as monistat on my own to see if it gets any better with that. She told me it wasnt "bad" and it was a mild case but that I have had it for a while and the best bet was to try the freezing because i started bleeding with the gel she originally provided for me.
Any other treatment options??

Hi mrs.d_to_be09 and welcome to the board.
Vaginal treatments such as monistat are used to treat yeast infections and would be ineffective in your situation unless the inflammation is from yeast.

Yeah, the doctor doesnt even know the reason i have cervical inflammation all she knows is its inflammed and i dont know what else to do if the same symptons i was having when i was diagnosed with it comes back which was nothing but a creamy white discharge that i never thought to much about because it never bothered me. thanks for the help though.
I know i was suppose to have a discharge after I got the Cryotherapy done but its been two weeks since i got it done and now my discharge is white and clumpy is it possible i have a yeast infection this soon after the procedure and if so can i treat it safely soon?
