Prolapsed Bladder Confusion

Last September I went to an ER because I was bleeding so heavily & could feel my vaginal wall (lots of ripples) when I wiped up after urinating.
They found that my bladder had prolapsed & was pushing the vaginal wall down into a horizontal position instead of the usual semi-vertical. My Gynecologist didn't think that I needed surgery to repair it & I fired him for his insensitivity. It does look weird (not protruding, just abnormal view) & it feels REALLY uncomfortable for me during sex. My periods are weird enough because of my perimenopausal condition (I'm turning 50 this year), but now they are longer & heavier.
He seemed to think that I was over-reacting & that there was no need to repair it. Now I just feel stupid for complaining about it & don't know what to do from here. It has put me off wanting sex, which used to be a favorite activity for me. When I tell other women, like my sisters or nieces they freak out & think it's gross. All in all, just a very embarrassing situation for me & I just want to get back to normal & back to my normal sexually active life.

I would get a second opinion from another GYN.
Thank you!!
Hi ms.maggie50 and welcome.
I totally agree that a second opinion is in order.
